Silent Pitch 03:14
Where have the years gone? And what of the faces? And who but you is left to remember? The pub is still crowded but not like it used to the taps could be dry for all the good that it does you All the old boys are disappearing and the young ones don’t care for such things local pride is well & good at least in theory the pitch is silent tonight and nobody’s cheering Remember the good years the bad and the worse and the off colour songs that had twenty verses the pub is still crowded but not like it used to no one buys you a drink anymore coz nobody knows you And all the old boys are disappearing and the young ones these days don’t care for such things local pride is well & good at least it is in theory the pitch is silent tonight and nobody’s cheering It’s gone gone gone gone gone Gone gone gone gone gone It’s gone gone gone gone gone Gone gone gone gone gone And where have the years gone And what of the faces? Pretty soon even you won’t be left to remember the pub’s been knocked down the parking lot stands vacant the trophy is cracked and the photos are yellow and fading And it’s all disappearing there’s nobody left who knows what you mean local pride is well & good well, it is in theory the pitch is silent tonight and nobody’s cheering the pitch is silent tonight and there’s no one to hear me

about

Over the years we have done a lot of stupid shit that if not for our privilege would have put us in jail or worse. 437 aboriginal deaths in custody since 2008 breaks our heart, and change is imperative.

We have a small voice but we can use if for what is right. Any purchases made on our Bandcamp page on Jun 19th will be split between Change The Record and Black Rainbow. Change The Record address the root causes of Indigenous incarceration and works to prevent imprisonment. Black Rainbow advocates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBQTI communities.

In addition to our ever-growing back catalogue (which can be yours only $1.38), we have a couple new tracks to entice you to give us your money: We kick things off with an extra tasty Bandcamp-exclusive Carpenters cover that we've been playing sporadically over the years and finally found a reason to lay down, which we are including with our latest single "Plastic Soul" and an unreleased demo of a song that has never seen the light of day until now.

If you’re not that into RC, we recommend checking out the roster over at Dero Arcade, who are also contributing proceeds to charities at this time. If you reside in the US and want to make you donation more local, head over to SIGE Records and have a look around. If you have already donated to a cause and want the tracks then by all means download away and know that we thank you and stand with you.
