He told me, "I've seen it rise But, it always falls I've seen them come, I seen 'em go" He said, "All things pass into the night" And I said, "Oh, no sir I must say you're wrong I must disagree, oh, no sir I must say you're wrong Won't you listen to me?" He told me, "I've seen it all before I've been there, I've seen my hopes and dreams a-lying on the ground I've seen the sky, just begin to fall" He said, "All things pass into the night" And I said, "Oh, no sir I must say you're wrong I must disagree, oh, no sir I must say you're wrong Won't you listen to me?" Goodbye horses, I'm flying over you Goodbye horses, I'm flying over you Goodbye horses, I'm flying over you Goodbye horses, I'm flying, flying, flying over you Goodbye horses, I'm flying over you Goodbye horses, I'm flying over you Goodbye horses, I'm flying over you Goodbye horses, I'm flying, flying, flying over you

it is what it is here we are again moments to forget like magnolias footnotes in the Evening Star hold your tongue, break it up ah, there’s the rub run amok golden lights, a bridge too far mischief at hand, outstretched arms lost in the pause, lost in the fog of it all it’s the end of the line and we don’t have time for this we close our empty hearts close inside our chest there’s too much noise at hand unraveling our threads come and kiss-me-sweet-and-twenty we can’t go home again a penny arcade beyond our means scattered applause and vanishing I can’t stand up…..I can’t stand up so help me going off like Kalashnikovs off with his head, off his head warning shots, leave me to rot leave me for dead it’s long past time we admit these are the bullshit years the days are getting vague we are easy to forget roll these empty thoughts around our head fold these losing cards against our vest do it the hard way pulling me sideways hang my head down burn the script paint the town it’s a sign of apocalypse we crossed a line there’s no coming back from this come and kiss-me-sweet-and-twenty our hearts are nearly empty we are easy to forget like ambrosia

Give it up, get out of the way generation Giving up and running away and falling on our sword Fake it loud, make it up Calling me out and you’re making me blush never give out, never get out the way I don’t mind that you wear it best I’m shaking my head and I'm shaking my fist you wanted me then you wanted more all the misery we can afford Cheap love, give it away plastic soul and away we go Good luck for goodness sakes whoa whoa whoa you’re making my heart sing a note from another world fever dreams and talking spells never give out, never get out the way I don’t mind that you wear it best first I’m shaking my head and then shaking my fist you wanted me but you wanted more now you’re making me feel like a dinosaur Comb our hair stamp our feet shedding our skin and gnashing our teeth you wanted me, you want it all all the misery we can afford like a dinosaur

about

Over the years we have done a lot of stupid shit that if not for our privilege would have put us in jail or worse. Nearly 500 aboriginal deaths in custody since 2008, including 88 in 2020–21 in alone, is completely unacceptable and breaks our heart. Change is imperative.

We have a small voice but we can use it for what is right. Any purchases made on our Bandcamp page from Jun 19th will be split between Change The Record and Black Rainbow. Change The Record works to address the root causes of Indigenous incarceration and works to prevent imprisonment. Black Rainbow advocates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBQTI communities.

In addition to our ever-growing back catalogue (which can be yours for only $1.38), we have a couple new tracks to entice you to give us your money: We kick things off with a Bandcamp-exclusive cover of Q Lazarus' "Goodbye Horses", followed by "Spar", which was originally intended for our Anyways and also Sorry LP but held back for the sole reason of including it here (because this stuff is important and albums are too long anyways).

A stripped back acoustic version of "Plastic Soul" rounds things out, because you are worth it.

If you’re not that into RC we recommend checking out the roster over at Dero Arcade, who are also contributing proceeds to charities at this time. If you reside in the US and want to make you donation more local, head over to SIGE Records and have a look around. If you have already donated to a cause and want the tracks then by all means download away and know that we thank you and stand with you.

xoxo
